WARRANTY AND TERMS

 

  1. 90 Days Limited Warranty Chromebook-parts.ca Provides a 90 day limited warranty on all parts, there are no other warranties expressed or implied.
  1. Risk of Loss or Damage Equipment Customer is responsible for risk of loss or damage to equipment while in transit to or from a Chromebook-parts.ca service center or while it is in the possession of Chromebook-Parts.ca unless caused by Chromebook-parts.ca’s negligence.
  1. Limited Chromebook-parts ca’s Liability Chromebook-parts ca’s liability for damages, whether in contact or in tort, including negligence, shall be limited to the Customer’s actual direct damage in an amount not to exceed the amount paid to Chromebook-parts.ca pursuant to this service repair order, or the value of the repair services performed under warranty. The foregoing shall apply whether or not the damage arises as a result of a breach of a condition, warranty, representation, or as a result of a fundamental breach of a term or condition of the contract, or the negligence of Chromebook-parts.ca, or as a result of the fault of Chromebook-parts.ca. In no event shall Chromebook-parts.ca be liable for any economic loss such as loss of profit, loss of use of equipment, loss of data or other direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages howsoever caused or arising incurred by the Customer or any other party, whether or not Chromebook-parts.ca may or might have been advised of the connection of the other party, and whether or not such connection or the damage incurred or suffered by the other party may be reasonable foreseeable. Customer hereby indemnifies and saves harmless Chromebook-parts.ca from all claims, losses, liability and damages arising out of any act or omission committed by the Customer, its employees or agents.
  1. Safety of Data The customer acknowledges that it is his/her responsibility to implement safeguards to protect data (including it confidentiality) and/or software contained in the electronic memories or other devices. In no event shall Chromebook-parts.ca be liable to the customer or to any third party user if any such data and/or software are lost, rendered inaccurate or damage.
  1. Data Transfer Not Including Program Customer acknowledges that in the case of data transfer only the data files but not the programs will be transferred in full. No guarantee that all programs transferred will properly run as before. Reinstallation of all the programs is recommended.
  1. Requirement of warranty service If services is being completed under warranty or contract the following conditions must be met:

      a) A copy of the original bill of sale showing the date purchased must be provided prior to commencement of warranty service;

      b) Qualification for warranty must be satisfied;

      c) The fault must be covered by the warranty. Faults due to damage, abuse, improper installation, lack of regular cleaning etc. may not be covered by manufacturer’s warranty.

  1. Diagnostic Charge Subject to Clause 8 below, Customer agrees to pay the diagnostic charge as a deposit for repair service provided the said deposit will be refunded if the service to be rendered is under warranty.
  1. Disposal of Unclaimed items over 90 days Customer agrees that in the event the equipment is not picked up and service charge therefore not paid in full after 90 days’ notice is given to the Customer by the provided contact information in this service order, the equipment in question will be disposed of in any way or manner by Chromebook-parts.ca, and the Customer shall have no claim in law or in equity to the said equipment whatsoever. The Deposit provided above will be applied to the costs of Chromebook-parts.ca in the disposal of the equipment without limiting the rights of Chromebook-parts.ca against the Customer for other damages Here the customer Represents and warrants that he/she is the owner of the equipment described herein, or if not the owner is duly authorized Chromebook-parts.ca to execute this service Repair Order. I have read and understand the terms and conditions of this service, and will accept.

 

All products returned for Standard Hardware Warranty Service must be returned to Chromebook-parts.ca at the customer’s risk and expense.
• All products will be returned to customer at their own expense (packaging, shipping, handling and insurance).
• All products return for service must be accompanied by a ticket. ticket number is valid for fourteen(14) days from the date of issuance.
• Ticket Number can be requested by e-mailing to info@chromebook-parts.ca. No ticket will be accepted without prior approval. Ticket Number is valid for fourteen(14) days from the issue date. All ticket(s) must be sent to info@chromebook-parts.ca pre-paid with a valid RMA number clearly marked on the shipping label as detailed below:
